The Evidences

Here are the evidences, in the holy book in heaven, showing that Judas Iscariot was not one of the Twelve Apostles.

1.     He was not valuing the teachings of Jesus Christ.

2.     He was moving about with the disciples, but was obeying the teachings of Jesus Christ.

3.     He was conducting his own personal ministry, while moving about with the multitudes.

4.     He was working to make money and gain earthly riches.

5.     He went about soliciting for patronage, by charging people money.

6.     Whenever Jesus Christ and His Apostles scheduled visitations, he moved ahead of them, to meet various people and families in the specified cities, to collect money or other benefits.

7.     He was serving as a secret agent to the chief priest and elders. Often, he went to meet them, to tell them what Jesus and His disciples were planning, saying or doing. That was why Jesus said, “I know you all, but one of you is a son of perdition.”

8.     The time he betrayed Jesus by accepting thirty pieces of silver was not the only time he betrayed Jesus and His disciples.

9.     He did not do the works of the Apostles, because he was not spreading the Gospel of Truth and Salvation with the Apostles.

10.                        At last, he betrayed Jesus, in continuity and completion of his evil works. Jesus warned his followers beforehand, saying, “By their fruits you shall know them.” And by their works you shall confirm them. “Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.” John 17:12

11.                        Truly, a son of the devil is never an Apostle of the Gospel of Truth and Salvation, because the habit of Satan is telling lies and fabrications.

Confirmation By Jesus Christ

Even before His death, Jesus removed the name of Judas among the Twelve Apostles. Here is what Jesus said, “I came to save the world and I have taken up your names before the highest courts of heaven, and you have been confirmed as saviours of the world. And not a name, excepting that of him who shall betray, will ever be disgraced.”

The word, except, shows that despite the fact that Judas was still in the midst of the Apostles and disciples, Jesus had already removed him, just as King Saul was still physically in the throne of Israel, without knowing that God has removed him and anointed David as king of Israel.

Besides

There were many other people, including able women, who were Apostles of Jesus Christ. That was why Matthias was recognized as an Apostle. He was not chosen to become an Apostle, but because he was already an Apostle. Check the scriptures, which says, “And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty) … Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” Acts 1:15 and 21,22

Already An Apostle

The expression, who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, means the person was already working steadily as an Apostle, doing all the things that the other Apostles were doing.

In the last statement, Peter said, “one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection,” the chosen person shall become a witness of resurrection. Certainly, to be a witness of resurrection is not enough to make somebody an Apostle.

A witness is different from an Apostle. A witness simply means somebody who saw, encountered and experienced, what happened. An Apostle means a custodian of the word of God, a true bearer of the Gospel of Truth and Salvation, who is also an army general in the vineyard, already knowledgeable and experienced. An army general is recognized by his previous services, before the date of selection and promotion, before he is made an Apostle.

Omission

In the list of the Twelve Apostles, one name was omitted. That name was Jude.

Beware Of Lies And Fabrications

Also, check all the lists of the Twelve Apostles in the four gospels, you shall discover that none of them was Mark or Luke. The name, Luke, was used to replace the name of Andrew – The Gospel Of Andrew. And the name, Mark, was used to replace the name of Simon Peter – The Gospel Of Simon Peter.

Some people argue that mark was an African, who wrote the Gospel Of Mark later. That reasoning is not acceptable in heaven, because Mark was not among the Twelve Apostles, and he did not witness all that Jesus did.
